PRÉCIS AI was founded in 2026 by Geraldine Lubbe with one mission — to give every South African business owner access to intelligent automation without needing a tech team, a large budget, or any technical knowledge.
While global platforms are designed for foreign markets, PRÉCIS AI is built around the realities of doing business in South Africa — load-shedding, BEE compliance, SARS requirements, local payment methods and four official languages.
PRÉCIS AI (Pty) Ltd is committed to protecting your personal information under POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013).
What we collect: Your name, business name, email address, phone number and business details when you complete our application form or contact us.
How we use it: To provide our services, contact you about your application, and improve our platform. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties.
WhatsApp communications: Conversations with our AI assistant are processed to provide automated responses. Conversation logs may be reviewed internally for quality purposes. Type STOP at any time to opt out of communications.
System integrations: When we connect to your accounting system (Xero, Sage, etc.), we use only the permissions you explicitly authorise. We never access your raw database. You can revoke access at any time.
Your rights under POPIA: You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@precis-ai.co.za.

Free Demo: We build and deliver a working demo of your AI system at no charge. Payment is only required once you have tested the demo and confirmed you wish to proceed.
Setup Fee: A once-off R500 setup fee is charged upon confirmation of sign-up. This covers the configuration and integration work performed to launch your system. This fee is non-refundable as the work is completed immediately.
Integration Fee: If we connect your AI to an existing accounting system (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks), an additional once-off integration fee applies — R1,500 for standard integrations, R3,000–R5,000 for complex multi-system setups. This is agreed in writing before any work begins.
How System Integrations Work: Connections to third-party systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and similar) are established using each platform's official secure authorisation method — the same standard used when connecting a banking app to a payment service. You grant permission directly through your own account login; PRÉCIS AI never receives or stores your password, and never accesses your underlying database directly. Only the specific permissions you approve (such as creating invoices) are used. You may revoke this access at any time directly from your own account settings, which will disable the integration immediately.
3-Month Minimum: All subscription plans require a minimum 3-month commitment from the date of activation. Full payment is due for all 3 months regardless of early cancellation requests.
Cancellation after minimum term: After the 3-month minimum, you may cancel by sending 30 days written notice to hello@precis-ai.co.za. Service and billing continue during the notice period. No partial month refunds are provided.
Data on exit: All AI systems are deactivated within 7 business days of final cancellation. You receive a full export of your conversation history and any reports generated during your subscription.
